It's a lot harder to burn 400 calories on the treadmill than it is to simply cut out a few small food choices here and there throughout the day. Is cardio important? As an overall part of any health and fitness program, yes. However, most people way over emphasize it, and too much cardio exercise is not only unnecessary but potentially counterproductive to your fat burning results.
