Joe Rogan Chris Williamson On Ozempic Weight Loss Miracle Or Risky Trend

In today's Episode, MC shares her positive experience of losing even more weight at the 7.5 mg dose of Mounjaro than the earlier lower doses when she began taking this medicine in mid-August. Feeling more normal and unafraid of every bite of food is a game changer. MC shared her continued weight loss journey using the drug tripeptide, also known as zepbound or mounjaro. I am excited that maybe next week when I share my update on my weight loss journey, you will hear that I met my desired target weight for June. I was a bit uncertain about the setback of not having access to the dose of medicine around April, but I am so happy to see that I am back on track; looking like I will achieve a weight I haven't been at for many years. Now, I am not stopping at this weight; I want to continue to see if I can lose another 30-40 lbs and gain muscle. I think this will be my next challenge over the next 6 months. Losing muscle is not what I want; I need to prioritize weight training daily. So, I am working on adding what Rhonda Patrick shares (see her channel below) about adding exercise snacks. My success by the end of the year will be an increase in strength and a continued decrease in my weight. MC discussed how individuals need to proceed with caution when accessing these drugs through an online company. Many are being sued by Eli Lilly for providing fake versions of their weight loss drug. Make sure you are using a pharmacy with a good reputation, and if it is a company where the pharmacy's reputation is reliable. Always talk to your Primary Care Provider; if you can't speak to them, change to a doctor who will talk to you. Now is the time to advocate for access to these medicines through our government, insurance companies, and the pharmaceutical industry. Access needs to be equitable, especially when the drug has been a game changer for so many people like me who have struggled with weight all their lives.
